Desalto Booth by Paola Navone

“When creating a fair booth to showcase minimalistic, neutral products, designer Paola Navone used bold graphics and bright colours to contrast the contents inside.”

This booth was structured with exposed metal painted in fluorescent colors and wrapped tightly with stretchy fabric.


The designer said “ My goal was to make a little theatre, to show that everyone can use Desalto’s products in their own way,” and “I wanted to attack the stretch fabric with graffiti; I wanted it to be strong and aggressive,”

デザイナーは「私のゴールは小さな劇場を作ること、誰でもみんな Desaltoの製品を彼らなりのやり方で使えるということをみせることです、」そして「私は伸縮性の布地にグラフィティを使って攻撃を仕掛けたかった。私はこのブースを強くアグレッシブにしたかったのです。」

She actually approached young graffiti artists on the street to ask for their assistance with painting fabric.


Navone also describved Desalto’s product as following. “Desalto’s products are very simple and minimalistic, so I wanted to show that you can use their elements and turn them into many different things pending the environment,”

Navoneはまた Desaltoの製品についてこのように話していました。「Desaltoの製品はとてもシンプルでミニマリスティックです。だから私は誰でも彼らのエレメントを使い、空間の中の様々なものへと取り入れることが出来るということを見せたかったのです」

According to the article, a space that, when approached from one angle, showcases only white products like a dining room, kitchen and office; when seen from the opposite side, they view colourful products.”
