Melting in French Landscape

9 May

From Dezeen

This is designed for an energy company EDF by Paris studio LAN Architecture. Their five story building will house their paper and micro film archives, which will occupy around 70km of shelving. The exterior of stainless steel studs set into earth colored concrete reflects the color and texture of the surrounding French landscape. The choice of the materials and the reflection are well considered to achieve the effect as if it is floating in the scenery.
